🖼️ Add images, video, text

Beyond presets, you can drop in your own images, video, and text 🖼️ Logos, photos, track names, messages — clutch for events and live shows.

All from the buttons at the bottom of the Cockpit (open it first with Space / [VJ]).

🖼️ Add images ([IMAGE])

• [IMAGE] loads your images (PNG / JPG / GIF, multiple OK)
• Load several and they cycle through, reacting to sound in 8 styles 👇 cycle / glitch / cyber / mosaic / kaleido / slide / zoom / split
• Switch styles from the "image style" on the deck. Watch photos glitch out or go kaleidoscopic 🌀
• 💡 For a logo, a transparent PNG is best (the background drops out and it layers cleanly). If it's heavy, shrink the image

🎬 Add video ([VIDEO])

• [VIDEO] loads a video file (MP4, etc.) and loops it
• Use it as a background or a layer, stacked with presets
• 💡 Long videos get heavy. A short loop clip is easiest to work with

💬 Add text ([TEXT] / T key)

• Type text with [TEXT] or the T key
• Pick from 10 text effects 👇 neon / glitch / typewriter / scroll / rain / 3d-extrude / retro-3d / zoom-blur / big-flash / outline-pulse
• ⚠️ Some (the 3D ones, zoom-blur) are a bit heavy — on weaker devices, go with the light ones (neon / typewriter)

🎵 Show track info ([TRACK])

• [TRACK] shows the title, artist, and album art of the MP3 loaded in VJam
• It reads the ID3 tags automatically (→ 🔊 Audio input chapter). Note: it can't grab info from a track playing in another app (Spotify, etc.)
• 💡 Want clean track names? Tidy up the MP3's ID3 tags beforehand

🔒 These auto-lock → how to remove them

• Images, video, and text get a 🔒 automatically when added. So Kill won't wipe them (keep a logo or track name up the whole time 👍)
• To remove one 👉 unlock the 🔒 in the deck's layer list → × to delete
