✅ Pre-show checklist

Run through this right before a live show or event and you're set ✅ A quick look before doors.

🔊 Audio

• Decided your input? (an audio file is the most reliable; the mic is weak on bass → 🔊 Audio input chapter)
• Actually played sound and confirmed the visuals react?
• Volume able to start from low and come up? (avoid a sudden blast)

🖥️ Screen & output

• Tested that visuals actually show on the external monitor / projector before the show? (→ 📺 Projector chapter)
• Decided extend vs mirror?
• No mouse cursor or stray windows showing on the external screen?

⭐ Prep

• Registered your go-to presets to FAV (★)?
• Saved your per-moment scenes to 1–9? (→ ⭐ Scenes & FAV chapter)
• Recalled every scene / FAV once to confirm they actually switch?
• Prepped any images / video / text (logos, track names) you'll use?
• Got backup audio / images / video on hand (USB / local)?

🎛️ Control

• Using a MIDI controller? Connected & assigned? (→ 🎹 MIDI chapter)
• Quick keyboard refresher (→ = next / ← = Kill / Space = Cockpit. Details in 📋 Reference)

⚡ Stability

• Restarted the app (page) once before the show? (running long then going straight into a show tends to get unstable)
• Tested that heavy presets/effects don't freeze it?
• Closed other heavy apps?
• Turned off sleep / screen-off / notifications? (so nothing interrupts mid-show)
• Power plugged in? (watch the battery on a laptop)

🔴 If you're recording

• For audio, is an audio file playing + Audio set to Auto? (audio needs a file → 🔴 Recording chapter)
• Enough storage free? (especially for long recordings)
